New Haven Theater Company is proud to announce it's first annual short film festival—Reel New Haven. Reel New Haven offers filmmakers, actors, directors and arts enthusiasts in the New Haven, and surrounding communities, the opportunity to create new and exciting short films celebrating their talents and celebrating the historic, thriving community of the Greater New Haven area. New Haven has been home to the beginnings of the Frisbee, the broiled hamburger, baseball, four US Presidents and hundreds of other notable names, which all solidify the Elm City as a storied and creative hotbed.

The Showcase will feature all the films submitted. Each film will be judge by a panel of local judges, as well as voted on by the audience in attendance. Winning films will then be featured at the Red Carpet première event in the fall.
